This sushi place is definitely worth a visit! The flavors are authentic, and the cleanliness and hygiene standards are excellent. Not only that, but the staff is also friendly, and the service is great! Thank you for a nice dinner :)

I've been Anaba many times before and always had great service and food. But this time it was the total opposite. I was very disappointed in the service and the food. The older woman server was rude and tried to rush us in ordering our food. All the Sushi rolls we ordered tasted mushy and the fish did not taste fresh.

Great friendly place. Nina our waitress was really nice and friendly. And the sushi is out of this world. Location overlooks the harbor.

My favorite sushi spot near the beach. The service is fast and friendly. The rolls are delicious. Nice variety of sushi. Plenty of parking.

Great sushi, the Tuna Lava Roll is amazinggg. Minus 2 stars though because lotssss of styrofoam packaging and single use plastic waste (bags, straws, cutlery, sauce).

One of the worst places I have been to as far as service and consideration go. All I ordered was Chicken Teriyaki and it took an hour to come out. The other 3 people in my party were already done, so I went up to the front and told them to cancel my order; to which they replied. “Oh, it’s ready right now, do you want to pack it up to go…..”. Then proceeded to CHARGE me for it! I would have been fine with even an apology or some sort of acknowledgment that it was ridiculous to wait that long for literally Chicken, white rice and Teriyaki while every one else’s plethora of items came out, but to have absolutely ZERO impulse to even attempt to smooth over that fiasco of a meal is the epitome of audaciousness to the NTH degree…..Never again will I eat here……and neither should you….

We were in Oxnard on vacation and picked Anaba Sushi based on reviews. We were really impressed! The quality of food, the service and the pricing are an amazing value! I ordered chirashi ($24 or so), came in two stacked bowls, good selection of fish and very creative presentation. My wife ordered a bunch of fatty cuts nigiri and liked them all. Sit at the bar and chat with the chef to make it even more fun!
